Faith Live

If you are used to see hyde with L'arc-en-Ciel, this will be a surprise (hope a good one). Hyde goes a little crazier every time he tours without the good boys from Laruku, but this is not precisely bad! The musicians make a great job, the stage is cool, and hyde's outfit is superb... also superb when he takes his shirt off, like he did on Realive Club Circuit X-D The additional material DVD is like candy, very amusing and cool and you get to see hyde dive into the audience and K.A.Z getting mad at the sound technician... priceless! :-D Buy Buy Buy!! You might like to get the Blu-ray, though :-.

With a header like that, it can't be good, right? Well, judge for yourself. I like Hyde's solo albums, so I decided to pick up this live DVD. The music is great. The stage is decorated like a church. There's even a keyboard player on stage. ^^ Now, I'm currently unfamiliar with Hyde's live performances in L'arc en Ciel, but... something's wrong with his voice during this performance. It sounds off quite a lot, like he's trying a little too hard. Nothing wrong with his enthusiasm, and I admit he's a hottie, but his voice is at its best when he sings calmly. Sadly, he yells and screams a lot during this concert, so it doesn't sound as good as it could. Maybe he just had an off day, or maybe he always sounds like this, I don't know. The concert isn't bad at all, the packaging is beautiful, and comes with a documentary disc as well. Is it worth its slightly expensive price? Yes and no. I don't regret buying it, but it could've been better. If you're a Hyde nut, you'll probably love this more than I do. People who have never heard of Hyde before should probably listen to his albums first, and to L'arc en Ciel.

The concert is amazing and the backstage footage was very entertaining! Awesome DVD for any HYDE fan!
