if you think Alice Nine's music direction is heading to the worse, i urge you to think again. while "9" isn't as hardcore as their earlier releases (ie: Zekkeishoku, Alpha), it packed a punch of different styles and melodies, a never-seen-before side of them. from the symphonic power metal tune of Track 2: the Arc, the wispy Track 4: Kasumi, the mysteriously spoken lyrics of Track 6: Hello, World, to me, their music style now is not mainstream but more matured. my personal rating for "9" is actually 4.5/5
