この世こそ、美しい。 "和"の色合いを強め、美しくきらびやかな世界が展開されるVALSHE、5枚目のコンセプトミニアルバム。 表題曲「今生、絢爛につき。」は「激情型カフネ」で展開されたストーリーの"エピソードゼロ"的な世界観を内包した、ストーリー性のある一曲。ダンサブルなクラブサウンドをベースとしながら、三味線・琴を主体とした"和ダンス曲"に仕上がっている。「追想の理」は自身も声優として出演するTVアニメ『信長の忍び』の第4期オープニング曲。アニメの世界観ともリンクした和風ロックサウンドにのせ、哀愁とも決意とも取れる二面性を持った歌詞を力強く歌い上げる。世界観を今回の表題曲と共にしている「激情型カフネ」や、VALSHEの楽曲を多数提供しているコンポーザー"doriko"とのコラボレーション楽曲、これまでのVALSHEにはなかった"和"を前面に出したバラードなど、6曲のボーカルトラックは6曲6様のまさに"絢爛"なラインナップ! アナザーJK(全4種類のうちいずれか1種類ランダム)封入。初回限定盤のDVDには、「今生、絢爛につき。」Music Video+Making of「今生、絢爛につき。」を収録。
