Mint

Lately, Namie's been hitting nothing but bulls eyes with everything she releases, and this single is no exception. In fact, I'd even say it's better than her last single Red Carpet, which was also excellent as well. Still somehow she managed to exceed even RC. Both songs on here are INCREDIBLY fun and super addictive that it will keep you putting the single on repeat. Mint is basically about how the guy she likes is so amazing and perfectly.... well Mint, while Chit Chat is another fun song after more than 10 years since Girl Talk, about just that, girl gossip chats. It even opens up with the English line "Did I tell you about yesterday?" that immediately sucks you into it. I've played this CD soooo many times since I received my copy only a couple days after it's release that I've lost count. The first press poster I received with my copy is also gorgeous! I got it framed and hung it up on my bedroom wall. The packaging itself is very simple. Basic jewel case with the beautiful cover. Inside is the disk of course, which is the basic shiny silver with her name and title in the green mint colored font you see on the cover. Behind the disk is another great photo of her in the same outfit as the cover, but in a different pose. The cover slides out, but is just a fold out slip containing the lyrics for both songs and the credits. However, they aren't all jumbled together in as little space as possible like most western world releases. They're all very neatly organized on a mint green background with the text in a kinda minty grey color, which actually looks very pretty. I very highly recommend this single to all Namie Amuro and JPOP fans.
