Galileo Galileiがバンド結成後、初めて作ったオリジナル楽曲「管制塔」から映画が誕生。話題のニューフェイス、山崎賢人(ドラマ「クローンベイビー」)、橋本愛(映画「告白」)を主演に迎えた三木孝浩(映画『ソラニン』)監督作品。真冬の稚内で全シーンを撮影、三木監督ならではの透明感あふれる映像と主演2人の瑞々しい演技により、Galileo Galileiの音楽世界を見事に表現している。劇場公開に先駆けて全国で行われた先行試写会には約1万通の応募が殺到、さらに2011年7月にはニューヨークの映画祭「JAPAN CUTS」でのプレミア上映も決定するなど大きな話題を集めている作品の初DVD化。※山崎賢人の崎は立つ崎(たつさき)が正式表記です。
