We deliver what was meant to be delivered. And so, this is the last. Shiina Mota, a musician and artist who passed away on July 23, 2015, at the age of 20. He left behind many things - happy memories, feelings of frustration, and more. There are various thoughts and feelings, events, memories, objects, illustrations, and so on, but surely the greatest common denominator among the people who knew him is the music he left behind. It is still alive, something you can touch, enjoy, feel sad over, and experience in many ways. There were demo songs he had been working on right up until the day before he passed away. These demo songs are not rejected tracks. Some were made for a certain project, others from his everyday creative activities. Parts of the exchanges and thoughts leading toward completion also remained - how should this be arranged, I want this sung this way, let us change the development of this one. Gathering these together, yet without adding too much, making the most of the material as far as possible, we arranged them in our own way alongside his feelings and thoughts - a collection of Shiina Mota's songs. 届ける予定だったものをお届けしますね。故に、これで最後です。2015年7月23日、20歳で亡くなったミュージシャン/アーティスト椎名もた。楽しい思い出や、ムカつく気持ちなど、様々なものを彼は残していった。色々な考えや気持ち、出来事、思い出、モノ、イラストとか色々あるけれど、でもきっと、彼のことを知っている人の最大公約数は、彼が残した音楽たち。それは、未だに生きていて、触れることも出来、楽しむことや悲しむことなどいろんなことが出来るもの。彼が亡くなる前日まで作りためていた、デモソングたちがあった。それらのデモソングは、ボツ曲ではない。ある曲は、とあるプロジェクトのために、またある曲は日常的な創作活動から作られていたもの。これはどういうアレンジにしようか、これはこんなふうに歌ってほしいな、こいつは展開を変えようなどと、完成へ向けた、やりとりや思考のパーツも残っていた。それらを拾い集め、けど、過度に手を加えず、出来る限り素材を活かして、彼の気持ちや思いと僕らなりに整えた、椎名もたの楽曲集。故に、これで最後。今まで、ありがとうみなさん。これからも、ありがとうみなさん。さよーならみなさん。
