I appreciated being able to rewatch the series in full HD in Blu-ray quality. I also liked having the Japanese subtitles on so I can improve my Japanese listening comprehension. However, my favourite part has to be the extra contents. The 'Happenings' are funny, the cut/deleted scenes in hindsight would have provided greater context to the episode and surrounding scenes, and it's interesting watching the same scenes but from alternate angles. It all gives a further appreciation of the work the film staff and actors put into making Ossan's Love Returns.

Haruta and Maki are now embarking on their belated newly-married life after a long-distance relationship in the Corona Vortex. Haruta dreams of lovey-dovey days together, eating meals, playing games, and going on dates after the New Year, but Maki, who has been promoted to section manager, is very busy as soon as he returns to Japan...
