高橋樺子 1/26 発売「さっちゃんの聴診器」に続く、期待のニューシングル!! 「ウートートゥ」: 沖縄には古くから語り継がれる物語が多く、その中には沖縄民謡や島唄に残されたものも少なくない。沖縄県名護市の東海岸にある二見地方には、かつて「二見情話」という有名な叙情歌もあり、美しく見えるが険しくもあり、登り下りは大変苦労した二見の山を題材としたもので、沖縄出身の作詞家 仲宗根健氏によって新たに書き下ろされた作品である。タイトルの意味は、神仏を拝む時や、お墓、仏壇に向かって手を合わせる時に両手を合わせてとなえる言葉で、地域によっては「ウートートー」とも表記される。作曲は前作「さっちゃんの聴診器」同様、三線演奏家の矢島敏氏。ウチナー音楽とヤマトゥの流行歌をチャンプルした【UTADAMA ミュージック】を顕著に表した楽曲である。
