Osaka-based comedian Shigeki Nagahara has come forward to direct the film adaptation of his autobiographical novel "Dog Collars and Croquettes - 30 Years of Seiki and Zuihou"! Set in Ikuno, Osaka in the deep Showa era (1926-1989), the film is a true story about his life from a notorious bad boy to the world of comedy. The film expresses his gratitude to the town that raised him through the main character's troubles with "family," "love," and "friendship," and his attempts to find answers to his problems one by one. The cast includes Kenta Kamakari, Chisun, Masaya Nakamura, Yuya Miyashita ( RUN&GUN ), and others. --Seiki was born in Ikuno Ward, Osaka, the child of a father who only serves croquettes and kimchi at the table. He spends his days fighting and stealing with his partner Tatsuya, the hardworking Toshi, and his rival Yamato, and has no doubts at all about his daily life. One day, however, Seiki goes too far and is arrested and sent to a juvenile reformatory. When Seiki is released from prison, his friend introduces him to Michiko, who is beautiful and unfazed by his "appearance" and "juvenile reformatory," and Seiki vows to live a life of seriousness. At the same time, Tatsuya, who had aspirations of becoming a comedian, invites Seiki to join him on stage, and Seiki learns the joy of "making people laugh," and before long he is serious about becoming a comedian. 芸人・長原成樹が自ら自伝小説を映画化! 大阪のしょーもない不良が、大人に変わるまでを描いた真実の物語。大阪を中心に活躍する芸人・長原成樹が自ら監督に名乗りを上げ、自伝小説『犬の首輪とコロッケと -セイキとズイホウの30年-』を映画化! 昭和のディープな大阪・生野を舞台に札付きのワルからお笑いの世界に飛び込んでいく自身の半生を描いた真実の物語。本作には「家族」「恋愛」「友情」に悩みながらも一つずつ答えを出していく主人公の姿を通して、自分を育ててくれた街への感謝の気持ちが込められている。鎌苅健太、ちすん、中村昌也、宮下雄也(RUN&GUN)、他出演。――大阪の生野区で、食卓にコロッケとキムチしか出さないおとうちゃんの子供として生まれたセイキ。相棒のタツヤ、ガリ勉のトシ、ライバルのヤマト達とケンカ・窃盗に明け暮れることがあたりまえで、そんな毎日に疑問など全くなかった。しかしある日、度を超して暴れすぎたセイキは遂に逮捕され少年院に送られてしまう。やがて出所したセイキは、友人にミチコを紹介されるが、「見た目」にも「少年院」にも何ら動じないミチコの美しさに、セイキは真面目に生きる事を誓う。その頃、芸人の道を志していたタツヤの誘いで舞台に立ち＜人を笑わせる＞喜びを覚えたセイキは、いつしか本気で芸人を目指ように。しかし、必死に生きるセイキに、ミチコはある秘密を隠していた・・・。
