アート・ペッパー没後30周年企画第2弾となる、ペッパーが生涯に唯一持ったレギュラーコンボによる未発表ライブアルバムが、HQCD/DSDマスタリング&紙ジャケット仕様で登場。晩年のペッパーは、ミルチョ・レヴィエフ(p)、ボブ・マグヌッセン(b)、カール・バーネット(ds)をレギュラーメンバーに、アメリカはもとより日本をはじめとする世界各地でライブを行ったが、このグループによるスタジオ録音は残さなかった。よってライブアルバムは貴重な存在だが、今回イタリア・ミラノでの音源がその1枚に加わることになった。

By listening to the available excerpts, I found that at least two titles (The Trip & Red Car) come from the Satin Doll in Kobe (March 9, 1978). To my knowledge, Art Pepper did not play in Milan in 1981. Warning, this is a scam as it is often the case?
