This 1975 album was the first solo outing for David Byron, the lead singer for Uriah Heep. It isn't a big surprise that a good portion of the album sounds a lot like the group that gave him his day job. Overall, it’s a well-made album that will definitely find favor with Uriah Heep fans.

this was a great post uriah heep solo record by the late great david byron who passed away back in 1985, this did not sound to much like heep but had a lot of heep elements to it, this replica lp release includes some really good bonus tracks, i wish the ROUGH DIAMOND album david did the year after he left heep would get a japan papersleeve reissue as i have had the japan lp for decades now, it was released in 1977 and was one of the best things david did after leaving heep in 1976.........
