Panama Jack ...thanks for your review! I was skeptical that this would be a remastered version but Panama Jack's review is dead on. The audio on this is much more clear, balanced and loud plus it has the stand out bonus track "Crossing Over" (how this did not make the album??- I'm amazed). The other Van Halen Hagar era CDs also have improved audio but 5150 and OU812 are the ones that are dramatically improved. Balance and Carnal sound better but not as huge a noticeable gain. This is worth buying if you are looking for the best sounding version of the Hagar era Van Halen CDs and a killer bonus track.

The Van Hagar remasters are here!! Even though nothing on this release states or indicates that it is remastered, it definitely is. This album was nearly perfect already. This remaster sound crisper and cleaner. Somehow, however, this took away from some of the album's "heavy" sound. Even so, the inclusion of the truly amazing "Crossing Over" makes this worth every penny!
