This is the first CD release of eight performances by Katsura Bundanji IV at the ABC Kamigata Rakugo Kikikikukai (ABC Kamigata Rakugo Kikikikukai), which are still available on ABC (Osaka Asahi Broadcasting Corporation). Katsura Bundanji IV is the earliest rakugo storyteller whose works can be heard on recordings made in the East and West. Included are "Funabenkei" (recorded July 12, 1956 at Koraibashi Mitsukoshi Theater), "Neyoko" (recorded June 25, 1958 at Koraibashi Mitsukoshi Theater), and "Oni-azami" (recorded September 12, 1956 at Koraibashi Mitsukoshi Theater).
