Gold [Limited First Pressing Edition w/ Blu-ray]

I have been an EGOIST fan for over ten years now and I have to say Gold is the most disappointing single they have ever released. There is only one new song which was released digitally a month ago. The coupling songs are all remixes, which is just lazy even in EGOIST's ever declining standard. The funny thing is, you don't even get both coupling songs if you buy the limited edition. You can only get both if you buy the regular edition or get both of the limited edition, which is absurd. How come we get less for paying more? It is heartbreaking to see how heartless EGOIST has become over the years. I am totally fine with ryo stepping down, considering he is the one who is incapable to make a decent amount of songs for EGOIST over the years. Introducing new composers gave me hope and I actually love the songs in BANG!!! very much, especially Tonight Tonight. Sadly, they managed to reach the new low right after that. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it is inferior to every past EGOIST single, which to me were all 3~5 stars. I sincerely hope EGOIST can be as good as their early years again. I really do. Please come back to us.
