[名作ドラマBDシリーズ] 1975年10月17日より日本テレビ系で放送された70年代を代表する名作ドラマ (全26話 '75.10～'76.4 放映)のBlu-ray第2巻。 東京・下町の料亭を舞台に照れ屋で臆病で人見知りだが、とてもやさしい青年、さぶが板前の修行をしながら成長する姿を描いたもの。主役のさぶを萩原健一が好演！ 梅宮辰夫、桃井かおり等、共演者たちも個性派俳優が多く、中でも東映の大部屋仲間とピラニア軍団を作ったばかりの室田日出男と川谷拓三が下町のトビ職人として出演し、この作品をきっかけに人気を獲得したのは有名。脚本を『北の国から』の倉本聰が手がけているのも注目。9話収録。 ※本シリーズは、膨大なデータ容量を備えたブルーレイ・ディスクの特性を生かして長時間収録しています。 (DVDのマスターテープを使用してリマスタリングしています。)
