I'm from Rome, Italy, but I'm in California, USA now. This movie is popular all over the world. Ryuku a Shinigami (Death God) drops his Death Note book. Disillusioned law student Light Yagami finds it and learns that he can bring justice to criminals who evaded it by just writing their names in the book. That causes them to die in 40 seconds. His father the police chief investigates the killing of so many criminals, and a mystery detective called "Eru" or "L" matches wits with "Kira" the killer. Light finds he must make big sacrifices in his battle with L.
