Description

First DVD release from anime series "Chaos;HEAd" based on same titled PC game. Script written by Toshiki Inoue of "Death Note" fame, animation created by Madhouse, and directed by Takaaki Ishiyama, the director of "Sakura Wars OVA." In Shibuya city, people get nervous with a series of murders called "Craze of the new generation." The main character Takumi Nishijo, who is a seclusive high school student, receives a message from "general" when he chatting on the internet. The general predicts a next murder case and Takumi's tranquil life changes abruptly... DVD includes episode 1 through 3.

「その目、だれの目――」渋谷を舞台にした戦慄の連続不可解事件「ニュージェネレーションの狂気」。ありふれた現実が静かに歪むとき、大いなる妄想が世界を埋め尽くす・・・。5pb.とNitroPlusがタッグを組み2008年春にリリースされ話題となったPCゲーム「ChaoS;HEAd」を原作に2008年10月より放送されているアニメ「カオスヘッド」がDVD化!! 第1巻。監督に石山タカ明(サクラ大戦OVA・おとぎ銃士赤ずきん)、シリーズ構成・脚本に井上敏樹(DEATH NOTE・平成仮面ライダーシリーズ)、キャラクターデザインに島村秀一(のだめカンタービレ・ハチミツとクローバー)を迎え、あのマッドハウスが制作を担当。――引きこもり一歩手前の高校2年生、西條拓巳が住む渋谷では、"ニュージェネレーションの狂気" と呼ばれる不可解な連続殺人事件が発生し、世間を騒がせていた。ある日、いつものようにチャットをしている拓巳の前に、『将軍』と名乗る人物が現れる。彼が発言したURLのリンク先にあったものは次のニュージェネ事件を予言するようなグロ画像。拓巳の平穏な日々に事件の影が忍び寄っていた・・・。 第1話から第3話を収録。
