The new UltraSeven reminds me of Garo with it's dark and moody atmosphere. The acting and special effects are well done. Other than that, I really wasn't too fond of it. Like most Ultra shows, Ultraman shows up at the last minute to fight the monster of the week and steal the show from the other characters. He does this in the new series but the battles so far seem too short.
