Hikari no Ato / Seimeitai [w/ Blu-ray, Limited Edition / Type A]

Gen Hoshino to release the first single in two and a half years. The title song "Hikari no Ato" is produced for the theatrical anime "SPY X FAMILY CODE: White" as its ending theme song. Includes "Otomodachi" and the instrumental track "Beyond the Sequence" as B-side tracks. The limited edition type A comes with a Blu-ray, including all 12 live tracks from his concert "YP Live Streaming 'Enkai' Hoo Hen" held in 2022, previously unreleased documentary footage, and eight live tracks from his concert "LIVE the SPEEDSTAR" held at Makuhari Messe in March 2023.

2021年にリリースされた『不思議/創造』以来、約2年半ぶりのシングルパッケージ。表題曲「光の跡」は『劇場版 SPY×FAMILY CODE: White』エンディング主題歌として書き下ろされた楽曲で、12月22日の映画公開とともにサプライズ発表された。「生命体」は2023年夏に開催された世界陸上・アジア大会のTBS系テーマ曲として話題を呼び、各配信サイトでも軒並み1位を獲得。カップリングには、2024年2月18日に開催される「オードリーのオールナイトニッポン in 東京ドーム」の主題歌「おともだち」、星野自身が出演する『UCC COFFEE CREATION』のテーマソングとして書き下ろしたインストゥルメンタル楽曲「Beyond the Sequence」が収録される。初回限定盤 Aは、2022年に開催された配信ライブ「YP Live Streaming "宴会" 鳳凰篇」ライブパート全12曲と未公開のドキュメンタリー映像、さらには今年3月幕張メッセで行われ、久しぶりに弾き語りのパフォーマンスを行った「LIVE the SPEEDSTAR」全8曲、2つのライブ映像を収録した豪華内容のBlu-rayが付属される。
