ヘヴィ・メタルの守護神HELLOWEEN、カイ・ハンセンとマイケル・キスクが復帰した黄金の7人での初のフルレングス・アルバムをドロップ! カイがHELLOWEENのアルバムに参加するのは、メタル史上最高の名盤のひとつ『守護神伝 -第二章-』(88年)以来、実に33年ぶり! キスクの参加は、『カメレオン』(93年)以来、28年ぶり! ドラム・レコーディングは、オリジナル・ドラマーであるインゴ・シュヴィヒテンバーグ(故人)のドラムキットを使い、ハンブルクのHOME Studiosで実施。『マスター・オブ・ザ・リングス』、『タイム・オブ・ジ・オウス』、『ベター・ザン・ロウ』といった日本だけで10万～20万枚のセールスを記録した90年代のモンスター・アルバムを録音したときと同じモジュレーターを使用。原点回帰と完全アナログ化を実現した。プロデューサーはバンドと蜜月の関係にあるチャーリー・バウアファイント。共同プロデューサーはデニス・ワード。ミキシングは、MANOWAR、QUEENSRYCHE、KREATORらの作品に携わったアメリカ人エンジニアのロナルド・プレント。日本先行リリース。
