CURUMIN

Description

[Machine Translation] This is Krumin's first album, which was released in Brazil in 2003, and has since become a long seller in the U.S. and Europe. The album was featured in numerous media outlets as a talented artist who combines the samba funk of the 70's, reminiscent of George Ben and Milton Nascimento, with contemporary jazz, funk, and hip-hop. From the up-tempo opener "Guerreiro" to the Stevie Wonder cover "You haven't done nothing" and the mellow funk "Vem menina" featuring Lino Crizz, this is a song that is a blend of his background in Brazil, where he was born of mixed Japanese and Spanish descent. The album is a hybrid work that strongly reflects his background of Japanese and Spanish descent, born in Brazil, a country of mixed blood.
