Shinobu Otake ( Piaf ) will be performed for the fourth time in November 2018 at the Theatre Creative in Tokyo. Based on the novel by Pam Gems and directed by Tamiya Kuriyama, this is the story of the life of French chanson singer Edith Piaf. In previous productions, Ohtake won the Best Actress Award at the 19th Yomiuri Theatre Awards and Kuriyama won the 62nd Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize. The song is sung throughout the play, but until now it has only been heard on stage and has been long awaited to be released on CD. チケットは毎回発売と同時にほぼ即完。大竹しのぶのライフワークとも言える舞台が遂に音源化!! 2011年の初演から回を重ねて、2018年11月に実に4度目の公演が東京・シアタークリエにて上演される舞台大竹しのぶ「ピアフ」。原作をパム・ジェムス、演出を栗山民也が手がける本作は、フランスのシャンソン歌手エディット・ピアフの生涯を描いた物語。過去の上演版では、大竹が第19回読売演劇大賞最優秀女優賞、栗山が第62回芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞を受賞したほか、昨年2016年末に開催された「第69回NHK紅白歌合戦」にて、大竹が劇中歌「愛の讃歌」を歌唱したことでも話題を集めています。舞台ではピアフの曲が全編で歌われますが、今までその歌は舞台のみでしか聴けず、CD化が待望されており、このたび満を持しての音源化。チケットは毎回発売と同時にほぼ即完。大竹しのぶのライフワークとも言える舞台が遂に音源化となります。
