2015年を代表するクリエイターたちが松本隆の言葉の世界に一同に集う作詞家生活45周年を迎える松本隆のオフィシャルトリビュートアルバム。総合サウンドプロデューサーに鈴木正人(Little Creatures)を迎え、現代の日本のミュージックシーンを名実ともに牽引する、唯一無二の「声」を持つ10組のアーティストが参加。さらに、スペシャルトラックとして、細野晴臣、鈴木茂、松本隆の演奏によって新録された、はっぴいえんど解散直後に残された未発表曲「驟雨(しゅうう)の街」を特別収録。現代のミュージックラヴァーズから、はっぴいえんどファンまで、必聴の内容。ジャケットは、漫画家ほしよりこ(「逢沢りく」「きょうの猫村さん」)による書き下ろしイラストレーション。
