1973年に発表したファーストアルバム『HOSONO HOUSE』(1973年5月25日発売)からちょうど40年、新録ソロアルバムとしては日本レコード大賞優秀アルバム賞を受賞した『HoSoNoVA』以来2年振りの全曲ボーカル・アルバム。クラフトワークの「Radio Activity」、ボブ・ディランの「When I Paint My Masterpiece」、カーペンターズで知られる「Close to You」など、細野晴臣が近年ライブで披露してきた歴史に刻まれた名曲が詰まった音楽の玉手箱のような作品。時代を越えて唄い継がれる名曲を残して逝去した数々のコンポーザーの名曲を中心に丁寧に作り上げた、天上のポップミュージック全12曲。【Guests】アン・サリー、岸田繁(くるり)、坂本龍一、Salyu、吉田美奈子、そして細野晴臣のライブセットのサポートでお馴染みのコシミハル、高田漣、伊賀航、伊藤大地(SAKEROCK)が参加。
