Huge Kanno Fan starting with this initial soundtrack. It really amazes me what a eclectic styles she incorporated into her repetoire in the past - with this album there's a bit of cool, urban feel that is juxadisposed to the warm, haunting "Voices". IMO, she's one of the most talented composer's out there! Check out her other stuff - Cowboy Bebop (Jazz); Escaflowne (Orchestral); Ghost in the Shell (Industrial); Wolf's Rain (Latin) - and you'll see what I'm talking about!
