[Machine Translation] Popular female idol group CHERRY GIRLS PROJECT major debut single! CHERRY GIRLS PROJECT (also known as Cherry Girls Project) is a female idol group formed in 2017. The five members are Maimu Kurume, Imu Kokonose, Mirai Mashidori, Rio Mashio, and Yua Nomori. They call themselves an emo-punk & rock "cherry" girls' unit that expresses their momentary way of life through song and dance, as if their lives are on fire. They have released six singles and two full-length albums, and are steadily expanding their name recognition and popularity. Their major debut single, "Give Me Love," is a cover of the debut song by VANILLA, a rock band active in the 1990s. The band's drummer, Koichi Kawanishi (Unicorn), and guitarist Akio Noyama (ex-The Bell's), the band's leader and composer, participated in the recording. Sound production was also handled by Hajime Okano, as was the case at the time, and many of the original members were assembled to create this gorgeous lineup. The album was released simultaneously in five standard editions, each with a different coupling track and jacket picture.
