[Machine Translation] CHRONOMETER was formed by the members of "BENTROOT" who were active in the Japanese PUNK/HC scene from the 90's to the early 2000's. In 2015, the band made a strong debut with their first album based on digi-rock, and in 2019, they will release their second album, which will be a return to their roots, a mixed sound without the use of hammering. In 2019, CHRONOMETER will release their second album, which is a return to the band's original mixed-media sound. With a limited schedule, the band toured around Tokyo and other cities in Japan and performed at several festivals, solidifying their worldview. In 2025, the long-awaited new album, their first in 6 years, was finally released! The album is a coined word ("Awakening Evolution") that combines the words "Evolution" and "Awakening" and embodies the path CHRONOMETER has taken and its further evolution. While centered on loud rock, the more emotional guitar ensemble and original vocal lines stand out, and it is no exaggeration to say that this is a fresh start for the ongoing "post-mixture" CHRONOMETER.
