東京・下北沢のライブハウスmona records (モナレコード)で小西康陽氏が3年にわたり主催するレギュラー・シリーズイベント「コーヒーハウス・モナレコーズ」から誕生した企画アルバム。小西氏を中心に、これまでゲスト出演したアーティストたちが集結し、細野晴臣氏の楽曲を弾き語りでカヴァー。本作のきっかけとなったのは、mona records 21周年記念イベント (2025年3月28日 開催)において、シークレットゲストとして細野晴臣氏が登場したこと。この歴史的な瞬間を契機に、イベントのスピリットを形に残すべく本企画が発足。今回のアルバムには、小西康陽をはじめ、澤部渡 (スカート)、直枝政広、金田康平 (THEラブ人間)、伊藤尚毅、矢舟テツロー、INO hidefumi、ジョンとポール、YOSSY LITTLE NOISE WEAVERら全10組が参加。それぞれが独自の感性と敬意をもって細野作品を再構築している。小西康陽は「風来坊」の弾き語り音源に加え、2025年3月のライブで披露した「終りの季節」のライブ音源を収録。また、当日の細野晴臣本人による弾き語り「香港ブルース」「恋は桃色」をMC込みで収め、会場の空気感をそのまま音源化している。さらに、細野晴臣の未発表音源となるフランツ・リスト「愛の夢」のカヴァー (デモ・ヴァージョン)も収録されており、ファン必聴の内容に仕上がった。細野晴臣の音楽世界と、それを敬愛するアーティストたちの呼吸が交わるこの作品は、mona recordsという場が長年培ってきた"つながりの力"を象徴する一枚であり、日本のポップミュージック史に新たな記録を刻む特別なトリビュート・アルバムとなっている。本作はCD盤として2025年12月に発売、この度待望のアナログ盤LPフォーマットとして2026年6月、リリース。
