Following the "1973-1976 Analog Box," this box set focuses on the second term of the band, consisting of Karen Kirishima (Vo), Kazuhiko Kato (G, Vo), Rei Obara (Ba, Vo), Yukihiro Takahashi (Dr, Vo), and Masayoshi Takanaka (G). This box contains an album "Appare," including the hit song "Boys & Girls," and "Seiten Live in Tokyo," compiling the legendary two-day live performance at Tokyo Bay NK Hall. These two works are remastered by Yoshinori Sunahara. "Seiten Live in Tokyo" is reissued for the first time in vinyl format (two LPs). Cutting is done by Miles Showell from Abbey Road Studios in London. Features redesigned gatefold packaging. Comes in a slipcase. Comes with a 32-page photo book, containing previously unpublished photos.

1972年デビュー、1973年5月5日に1stアルバム『サディスティック・ミカ・バンド』をリリースしてから50周年。(デビューは1972年6月21日発売のシングル「サイクリング・ブギ/オーロラ・ガール」)加藤和彦が結成した稀代のロックバンドが東芝EMIよりリリースした作品群に最新リマスターを施したアナログ・リイシュー企画。第1期にスポットを当てた「1973-1976 アナログBOX」(2023年7月26日発売)に続き、桐島かれんをボーカルに据え再結成した第2期にスポットを当てた企画が実現。大ヒット曲「Boys & Girls」を含む1989年のアルバム『天晴』とそのアルバムを引っ提げて東京ベイ NKホールで2日間だけ行われた伝説的なライブを収録した『晴天ライブ・イン・トーキョー』をアナログリイシューする。第2期サディスティック・ミカ・バンドのメンバーは、桐島かれん (Vo)、加藤和彦 (G, Vo)、小原礼 (Ba, Vo)、高橋幸宏 (Dr, Vo)、高中正義 (G)。『晴天ライブ・イン・トーキョー』に関しては、今回が初LP化となり、しかも当初CDには未収録だったコンサートのオープニング・ナンバー「どんたく」を初収録。2枚組のライブLPとなる。オープニングでステージの照明が点いた瞬間のオーディエンスの歓声が印象的。『天晴』『晴天ライブ・イン・トーキョー』2作を、メンバーからの信頼も厚い砂原良徳氏がリマスター、最終確認をオリジナルメンバーの小原礼が行った。その音源をロンドン アビイ・ロード・スタジオのマイルス・ショーウェル氏のハーフ・スピード・カッティングで180g重量盤LP化するという贅沢な企画。また、今回リデザインされたゲイトフォールドジャケットのアートワークのLPと未発表写真を含む豪華32Pの写真集を、豪華な三方背BOXに収納したアナログBOXがついに発売になる。あのセンセーショナルな再結成アルバムと伝説のライブが最高の音質で蘇る。
