2015年『シングル・マン』で大きな反響を呼んだ、アナログ・マスターテープからの最新リマスタリングによるSHMリイシューとLP化を、RCサクセションの他の作品でも実施 (リマスタリング・エンジニア: zAk)。永遠の名盤が最高の音で今蘇る! 『RHAPSODY』は、1980年に発表されたRCサクセションのライブ・アルバム。78年ごろロック編成に移行したRCの、ロック・バンドとしての最初のアルバムはこの久保講堂でのライブを収録した作品であった。仲井戸麗市、新井田耕造、G2を加えた全盛期のメンバー5人が揃ったのに加え、小川銀次 (ギター)と、梅津和時 (アルト・サックス)がサポート・メンバーとして参加。RCにとって「シングル・マン」以来4年ぶりとなるこのアルバムは、彼らのターニング・ポイントとなる成功作であった。虎ノ門・久保講堂にて1980年4月5日収録。
