Tooi Mukashi no Koi no Uta

Fuyumi Sakamoto releases a commemorative single as she enters the 40th anniversary year of her debut from March 2026. The title track "Tooi Mukashi no Koi no Uta" and the coupling track "Shiawase Toiro" are newly written works with lyrics and music by Yuka Kawamura, an artist of the same age as Sakamoto, with arrangements by Kei Wakakusa, known for "Yozakura Oshichi" and "Mata Kimi ni Koishiteru." The title track expresses the keyword "true-to-life Fuyumi Sakamoto," capturing the sweet, painful, and bittersweet memories of distant love shared by people of the same generation who have continued walking their own paths through the same era, presented for the first time in a jazzy style. The coupling track "Shiawase Toiro" is an encouraging message song that sings sincerely about the importance of living each day true to oneself rather than lamenting comparisons with others, a theme Sakamoto has consistently pursued since her debut. Featuring a Latin-flavored kayokyoku sound with a prominent brass section, both songs challenge new worlds that Sakamoto has never explored in her original works before.

2026年3月よりデビュー40周年のアニバーサリーイヤーに入る坂本冬美の記念シングル発売!! 収録される表題曲「遠い昔の恋の歌」、カップリング曲「しあわせ十色」は坂本冬美と同じ歳のアーティスト 川村結花の作詞&作曲による書き下ろし作品。アレンジは「夜桜お七」「また君に恋してる」の若草恵が担当。表題曲「遠い昔の恋の歌」は"等身大の坂本冬美"をキーワードにして、同じ時代にそれぞれの「道」を迷いながらも 歩み続けてきた坂本冬美と同世代の人々が共通して持っている、甘く切なくほろ苦い、今でも鮮明に心の片隅に残っている遠い恋の儚い想いを、初めてジャジーテイストに乗せた作品となっている。カップリング曲「しあわせ十色」はデビュー以来、常に自分らしさを追求してきた坂本冬美が、他人と比べて嘆くより、自分らしく毎日を生きることの大切さを等身大で歌った応援歌的なメッセージソング。「自分らしさという一本の芯を強く持つこと」の大切さ、坂本冬美の力強くも温かい歌声で、真っすぐに生きている同世代の人々の姿を描いている。サウンドはブラスセクション」をフューチャーしたラテンテイストの歌謡曲に仕上がっている。どちらの楽曲も今までオリジナルで歌ったことがない世界観の作品に挑戦。
