女優、映画監督、モデル、カメラマン、シンガーなど、様々なクリエーターの顔を持つ池田エライザが、ELAIZAと名義し創作した1st オリジナルアルバム。『失楽園』とは、旧約聖書『創世記』第3章の挿話である。蛇に唆されたアダムとエバが、神の禁を破って「善悪の知識の実」を食べ、最終的にエデンの園を追放されるというもの。このアルバムは、困難が降りかかる現代に適応し、個を見つめ、未来への希望と今の喪失を描く、いわば"前向きな喪失感"を表現した11編からなる叙事詩である。ELAIZAのクリエイティブな世界観が凝縮した、オルタナティブなPOPSとなっている。2021年11月デジタルリリースされた作品に2曲のRemix追加トラックを収録予定。初回限定盤には『失楽園 rev.2 1st ShowCase LIVE "Paradise Lost" ＠EX THEATER 20211225』の模様を収録 (曲数未定)した映像のBlu-ray DISC、『失楽園 rev.3 LIVE at Billboard』の模様を収録した音源のCDを付属。
