THE YELLOW MONKEY TOUR2024/25 Sparkle no Wakusei X (-BLOCK1-) [Regular Edition]

THE YELLOW MONKEY held the tour "TOUR 2024/25 ~Sparkle no Wakusei X~" carrying their 10th album "Sparkle X" from October 2024 to September 2025. A package of this roughly year-long long tour, etched into the band history, is released. "TOUR 2024/25 ~Sparkle no Wakusei X~" was originally a three-part structure of [BLOCK.1] [BLOCK.2] [BLOCK.3], with each block presenting a setlist that collaborated the 1990s albums "jaguar hard pain 1944-1994," "smile," and "FOUR SEASONS" respectively with the new album "Sparkle X." A [FINAL BLOCK] was then announced as an additional performance, in which a setlist built in collaboration with the band first long tour "TOUR'96 FOUR SEASON "Yasei no Shomei"" was presented. Furthermore, quoting the lyrics of "CAT CITY," the band 26th single and first in nine years released during the tour period, four additional performances were announced under the title "TOUR 2024/25 Sparkle no Wakusei X -Kami-." Reaching the true final at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY, they completed a total of 39 live shows. The [BLOCK.1] [BLOCK.2] [BLOCK.3] [FINAL BLOCK] [Kami] performances are each also released as standalone DVDs. The DVD includes a booklet containing unreleased photos from each performance.

2024年10月から2025年9月にかけて、10枚目のアルバム「Sparkle X」を引っ提げたツアー「TOUR 2024/25 ～Sparkleの惑星X～」を開催したTHE YELLOW MONKEY。バンドの歴史に刻まれる約1年間にわたるロングツアーのパッケージが発売。「TOUR 2024/25 ～Sparkleの惑星X～」は当初、【BLOCK.1】【BLOCK.2】【BLOCK.3】という3部構成で、それぞれのブロックごとに90年代にリリースしたアルバム「jaguar hard pain 1944-1994」「smile」「FOUR SEASONS」と、新作アルバムの「Sparkle X」をコラボレーションさせたセットリストのライブ。さらにそこから追加公演として【FINAL BLOCK】が発表され、このブロックでは、バンドにとって初のロングツアーであった「TOUR'96 FOUR SEASON "野性の証明"」とのコラボレーションで構成したセットリストが披露された。そしてツアーの開催期間にリリースした、バンドにとって9年ぶり26枚目のシングル「CAT CITY」の歌詞から引用し、「TOUR 2024/25 Sparkleの惑星X -ネ申-」と題して追加の4公演を発表。LaLa arena TOKYO-BAYで本当のファイナルを迎え、トータルで39本のライブを完走した。【BLOCK.1】【BLOCK.2】【BLOCK.3】【FINAL BLOCK】【ネ申】公演がそれぞれDVD単体としても発売される。DVDには各公演の未公開写真を収録したブックレットが封入される。
