Description

[Machine Translation] A man and a woman meet during World War II - the ultimate form of love. France during World War II. As the Nazis advance on France, radio repairman Julien (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is about to board an evacuation train with his wife and young daughter, who are about to go into labor. However, he is assigned to a different car than his wife and child, and must ride alone in the freight car. The train was crowded with many evacuees, making it difficult for him to move. 第二次世界大戦下めぐり会った男と女─究極の愛の形─。『離愁』第二次世界大戦下のフランス。ナチスの進撃が迫る中、ラジオ修理工のジュリアン (ジャン=ルイ・トランティニャン)は、臨月を迎える妻と幼い娘を連れて疎開列車に乗ろうとしていた。だが、妻子とは別の車両に割り振られ、彼は一人貨車へ乗らなければならなかった。列車は行く先々で大勢の避難民を乗せ、車内は身動きがとれないほど混雑していた。そんな中、ジュリアンはドイツ生まれのユダヤ人女性アンナ (ロミー・シュナイダー)に出会う。二人は避難列車の旅を続けるうちに惹かれあい、道ならぬ恋と知りつつ愛は深まるばかりだった。やがて列車は執着駅へ着き別れを迎えるが、数年後二人の運命は再び動き出す・・・。国内初Blu-ray化。UHDマスター版 BD&DVD BOX。
