宮本浩次がカバー曲を中心に歌ったスペシャルなコンサート「ロマンスの夜」の映像作品。2020年に発売された宮本浩次初のカバーアルバム『ROMANCE』は、自身初のオリコンランキング1位を獲得するなど幅広い支持を受け、また第71回芸術選奨 文部科学大臣賞も受賞し、その高い作品性も評価された傑作となった。そしてそれに続くカバー作品『秋の日に』の発表とともに開催されたコンサートが「ロマンスの夜」。「ロマンスの夜」は、『ROMANCE』、そして『秋の日に』に収録されている名曲たちをはじめ、カバー曲を中心としたスペシャルなコンサート。そのカバー作品を共に作り上げたプロデューサー小林武史 (キーボード)をはじめ、名越由貴夫 (ギター)、須藤優 (ベース)、玉田豊夢 (ドラム)という、宮本がもっとも信頼する最高のミュージシャンたちの演奏とともに、歌手・宮本浩次の類まれな実力、そして果てしない表現力を存分に堪能できるかつてない内容となっている。本映像作品は2023年1月16日東京ガーデンシアター公演を完全収録。さらに、ライブ本編に加えてカバー作品「秋の日に」に収録され、当日にも披露された「恋におちて -Fall in love-」のMusic Videoも追加収録される。
