2024年デビュー40周年を迎え、10月5日より全国24ヶ所26公演開催、全公演満員御礼となった『KIKKAWA KOJI 40th Anniversary Live』の日本武道館2DAYSの模様を収録したライブ映像作品。40周年を記念するステージということもあり、「You Gotta Chance ～ダンスで夏を抱きしめて～」「LA VIE EN ROSE」などの初期の曲から、「SPEED」「せつなさを殺せない」といった代表曲、さらには「恋をとめないで」「GOOD SAVAGE」などのCOMPLEXの人気曲まで、バラエティーに富んだ曲が並ぶ。アニバーサリーライブならではの特別なシーンも数多くある。吉川の観客への感謝の思いと、40周年をともに祝いたいという観客の思いがコール&レスポンスによって呼応しあう「MAJESTIC BABY」。現在の吉川の表情豊かな歌声を堪能できるピアノの弾き語りでの「ロミオの嘆き」。初期の映像が映し出される中でのパフォーマンスとなった「フライデー ナイト レビュー」。巨大なKマークのLEDライトが黄金色に輝き、客席のリストバンドが星の光のように瞬く中での「El Dorado」。会場内が一体となって踊る中での「Juicy Jungle」。代名詞のシンバルキックも炸裂。ツアーで全国各地を回り、磨きをかけてきたダイナミックなバンドサウンドも大きな見どころ&聴きどころ。バンドのメンバーは、吉川が絶大な信頼を寄せる、生形真一 (Gt)、藤井謙二 (Gt)、ウエノコウジ (Ba)、湊雅史 (Dr)、ホッピー神山 (Key)の5人。不屈の闘志と愛と感謝とが共存する空間の熱狂と感動が見事に収録されたライブ映像作品。ツアーに参加した人も、参加できなかった人も、必見。
