This album is simply Becker and Fagen's greatest effort. While all the other Steely Dan albums are great, Aja sits on top as the best. Aja is an outstanding collection of songs and compositions which was and still is years ahead of its time. This album is an excellent example of Jazz-Rock yet still has great moments of Contemporary Jazz and Jazz-Fusion as part of its collective sound. Steely Dan's Aja is one of those rare albums you can listen to over and over again and never get tired of listening.
