After The Six Wives Of Henry 8, Journey To The Centre Of The Earth was Rick Wakeman's second solo album. The Yes keyboard player used Jules Verne his novel for his musical story and he did a great job. Till now , in my opinion , this is Rick's best album he ever made. He used the London Symhonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Choir + narrator David Hemmings for his album. They recorded at once live. One of the highlights is the Battle. Rick played the fight of two Seamonsters on the Moog. A great album wich will sound great on the SHM CD.
