WOW, it sure took forever to get the sahb catlog ( or most of it) released in japan on papersleeve in shm mastering, i have been waiting years for this, anyway i loved this album big time when i was in my late teens, songs like hammer, st anthony and the title track framed are always stuck in my head and probably will be for years to come, this disc sounds fantastic remastered in shm and the lp sleeve replication is perfect as per the original uk and japan issued lps from 42 years ago, this was the begining of a hell of a run for the sahb for vertigo records (uk) more great hard rock was to come, the best way to describe this record is hard rock with a huge twist of glam to it, this band was a phenomenon in the uk and europe zal clemenson has just left tear gas ( his first band) and alex had broken up his soul band he had run through most of the 60s, this was the early 70s now and a new band for him, what a classic what more can i say??????

Vertigo 6360 081 Released in December UK 1972 Harvey's merger with Tear Gas, a faltering rock band, was the smartest move of his career. With a heady mix of theatrics and driving rock, SAHB quickly made a name for themselves across England, releasing this album along the way. Harvey struts and yowls and gets raunchy (prefiguring the SAHB version of "Delilah") while Zal Cleminson rips up the territory with some astounding guitar work.
