Piledriver +1 [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]

Piledriver SHM-CD sounds terrific and is nicely packaged. There are no inserts however, as the previous reviewer mentions. Gatefold outer-sleeve only is replicated. The original album had a basic inner-sleeve 'bag' with the Vertigo label spiral design. This is not replicated on the Mini-LP.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH now that we passed the more psyche sounding quo years with pictures, ma keels greasy spoon, spare parts and dog of two head we head straight into the boogie years of quo that kept them on top in the uk, europe mexico, australia and south america, this record produced 2 big quo classics (big fat mama) and paper plane) but the entire album rocks from beggining to end, sadly as most know status quo did not make it in the us and had only one us hit in 1968 with pictures of matchstick men, after that small us psche hit 45 years ago quo would not have another us hit ever but remained huge in most other parts of the world, for me status quo was the uks answer to foghat in the us, quo are about the best boogie rock band to ever come out of any country ever, this album piledriver was in the top ten for years in the uk and europe and piledriver is still regarded as one of quos best records ever, from this point on quo would rock the the rest of the 70s, 80s,90s and have still been doing great records as i write this 13 years into the millinium, as only japan can this replica of the original uk sleeve is awsome!!!! right down to the original inserts that came with this album, this line up got back together last march 2013 and recorded a bunch of live stuff in the uk for release real soon, in the meantime enjoy this classic and by the way the shm mastering never sounded better, enjoy!!!!!
