this would be sammys last solo record as this was released in the summer of 1984 and about a year after that he would join van halen for 11 years, anyway he really hit it big with i cant drive 55 but i really liked all the other songs on this record like swept away, dick in the dirt and the rest of this record, this was a real hr/hm record and this beautiful japan edition sounds very good and the carboard sleeve lp replication was done right down to perfection as per the original japan lp from 1984, sammy would release one more solo album in 1987 and then would not resume his solo act until 1997 but i cant say i enjoy his post van halen solo stuff as much as his work with montrose in 1973 through voa in 1984...........stil live in 2016 sammy gives you a fantastic live show for a man that is 69 now, he is still full of youth onstage and powerful energy.....
