this was a great opus to kick off 1980 with, now again with gary moore gone solo to form g force phil lynott brings in snowy white, odd choice but thin lizzy really deliver again with this great record, to this day killer on the loose is a highley regarded lizzy song and if phil where alive today im sure he would still have that song in the set, in true 1980 style with the nwobhm kicking hard and other bands like ufo putting out heavier albums phil did not miss a trick and this record falls in line a bit with that sound BUT it is still a very uniqu thin lizzy sounding album, that was what was so amazing about lynott he was able to blend in with all geners but still keep thin lizzy to there own sound, he must have had a hell of a lot of energy becouse with all the vaults finally being emptied 26 years after his passing there is just so much bonus stuff that was bootlegged over the years or has never been heard, once again you get two discs here, that is how much stuff was left over from the china town sessions and its all here never sounding better, now i await the deluxe editions of renagade and thunder and lightning as well as all these other thin lizzy tracks that have been in a vault for up to 40 years...........
