まるでカレンダーをめくるように、日常生活に寄り添う音楽を集めたコンピレーション・シリーズ。2007年4月から翌3月まで、その月毎のテーマ別に、月刊誌のイメージでリリース。監修・選曲は、カフェ・ヴィヴモン・ディモンシュを経営するほか、音楽ライター、再発プランナーとして活躍中の堀内隆志氏。今作のコンセプトは「July-summer island」。summer islandをキーワードに、ロックステディやルーツレゲエといったジャマイカの音楽から選曲。ボブ・マーリー&ザ・ウェイラーズやジミー・クリフといったレゲエを代表するアーティストたちの、気持ちのいいナンバーをたくさん収録。これまでのレゲエ・コンピとはひと味違ったカワイイ感じの南国アルバムに仕上がっている。
