This Queen album is one of my faves and sounds mighty in this format.however this review stands for all of these MQA UHQCDs!!(And MQA in general)Its very simple, this is the closest we can get to the original 'master tapes' which is the goal of the MQA design team.A fair proportion of these discs having 352k sample rates allows the sound system to disappear leaving you just the music...yes,what each individual will hear depends on their system and their ears 'listening' ability but overall I am sure that the sonic improvement offered by MQA will clearly be heard.( I have no interest in the debate over the compression aspect as once 'unfolded' it is a lossless codec)...I am a musician and a lifelong music fan,and operate a very high resolution system(linear power modded Oppo 205 direct into a pair of Adam S3H powered studio monitors),It is very clear that MQA encoded recordings offer a significant improvement in all aspects of the sonic picture,tight focused bottom end, beautifully natural sounding mids and highs,increased 'space' between instruments even when the mix gets busy,etc etc...do yourself and your ears a favour get MQA!!
