There is one major difference between the Japanese and International (outside Japan) releases of this album. The Japanese release has "Leave Yesterday Behind" which is not on the International release. However, the latter has "Touch Me When We're Dancing" which is not on the Japanese release. I have both version of this album. Although this album has 40 songs, there are several songs that I wish were included on this album. I wrote about those songs on my reviews for the "Horizon" and "A Kind of Hush" albums. Moreover, there are some songs on this album (40/40) that I would have preferred to be excluded to make room for the "missing" songs from "Horizon" and "A Kind of Hush." But that is just my opinion and overall, I love this album! I think that the Carpenters are so good that they could release a greatest hits album with 40 songs and I enjoyed listening to most of them. There are only a few artists who can do that in my opinion.

Things is the best sounding album that I have heard the remaining is superb and is audiophile quality so clear and rich with deep bass .
NO MORE BUYING THE CARPENTERS BEST OF OR GREATEST HITS ANYMORE. THE SOUND OF THE DRUMS DO STICK OUT. BUT IT DOES NOT EFFECT VIBRATION OF THE WINDOWS AT HOME. IT IS CRISP AND CLEAR AS EVER. IM SHOCKED. CALLING OCCUPANTS IS THE ALBUM VERSION. THE REASON WHY THERE'S NOT A LIST OF SONGS FOR THIS CD. CAUSE IT'S IN JAPANESE ON THE BACK COVER. ONCE YOU OPEN IT UP. THE COVER COMES OFF AND YOU SEE THE WORDS IN ENGLISH FOR THE SONGS. IM GLAD I GOT MY BUCKS WORTH. NOW I CAN GET RID OF THE CARPENTERS GOLD 35TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION.
