世界中から愛されるアーティスト、エルトン・ジョン 33枚目のニュー・スタジオ・アルバム! 前作『ザ・ダイヴィング・ボード』 (2013年、全英・全米共にTOP 5)、前々作のレオン・ラッセルとのコラボ・アルバム『ザ・ユニオン』 (2010年)に続き、エルトン・ジョンとT・ボーン・バーネットとによる共同プロデュース、レコーディングはLAのThe Villageで行われた。48年間に亘るパートナー、バーニー・トーピンとの共作。エルトンの古くからの信頼できる仲間も集結。1960年代後期から一緒に活動しているドラマーのナイジェル・オルソンと、1972年にバンド・メンバーになったギタリストのデイヴィー・ジョンストーンが、2006年のアルバム『キャプテン・アンド・ザ・キッド』以来の参加。そして長い間の仲間であるパーカッショニストのレイ・クーパーも5曲に参加。ファースト・シングル「ルッキング・アップ」は、そのアップビートなリズムと歌詞に、エルトンの過去の大ヒット曲を思わせるロックなギターとモチーフのあるピアノが活気を与えているキャッチ―な曲調。 ※本商品は全世界同日発売商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
