You've got to give axe master Slash some credit, instead of starting another band & dealing with the ego of a lead singer he has taken the Carlos Santana route & made a wonderful album with a host of guest vocalists. Sure there is plenty of signature Slash riffery present & the wide variety of vocal styles present make this a true masterpiece, so much better than the drivel that is Chinese Democracy. Top hats off to Slash, he is the man!!
