For Yngwie J.Malmsteen fans who were not happy with the European DVD "Far Beyond The Sun"(a concert compilation containing half of "Live '85" & "Trial By Fire:Live in Lenningrad '89"), Japanese DVD's give you these concerts complete on two(separate) DVD's. This DVD contains the complete "Trial By Fire:Live in Lenningrad '89",plus five bonus music video clips,plus 3 songs available with "Guitar Tabs" on screen(for you who play the guitar). The only reason that I can't give this program a "5" rating is because of a serious audio mastering fault on the song "Spanish Castle Magic". There are a series of jarring right channel audio drop-outs(on the stereo & surround soundtracks) that were not present on any previous(VHS/Laserdisc) release of the program. I hope that Universal Music will correct the problem on a future pressing of this DVD. I'm glad that I copied my old Laserdisc onto DVD-R before I sold the Laserdisc. With a little more quality control,this disc would have been perfect. To correct the information that CD Japan has,this disc is an NTSC All Regions disc. There is no region coding,and the disc can be played worldwide.
