今年3月2日に89歳で逝去したサックス奏者ウェイン・ショーターの現時点でのラスト・レコーディングとなるライヴ・アルバム。テリ・リン・キャリントン、エスペランサ・スポルディング、レオ・ジェノヴェーゼとのスペシャル・カルテットで出演した2017年9月のデトロイト・ジャズ・フェスティヴァルにおけるパフォーマンスを収録。同年6月に逝去したピアニスト、ジェリ・アレンに捧げられたステージで、自由度の高いマジカルなインタープレイが満載。アルバムは2022年9月にキャンディド・レーベルからリリースされ、今年2月の第65回グラミー賞において"最優秀ジャズ・インストゥルメンタル・アルバム"を獲得した。日本盤リリースにあたり、アナログ盤のみに収録されていたトラックを追加収録。＜パーソネル＞ウェイン・ショーター (ss, ts)、テリ・リン・キャリントン (ds)、レオ・ジェノヴェーゼ (p, key)、エスペランサ・スポルディング (b, vo) 2017年9月3日、デトロイト・ジャズ・フェスティヴァルにてライヴ録音
