Considering that this recording was made in a bar, it sounds remarkably good, notwithstanding the jerks talking and tinkling their drinks. Yet this is remarkable music by any standard and will probably never be duplicated. A must have for any jazz lovers collection. Bill Evans, a MASTER!!! And the bass player is fantastic as well. Every time I listen to this CD I'm impressed. What more can I say? Buy it!!!
